safety glasses When cutting Conti it is recommended that you wear safety glasses. As you cut the Conti panel small chips of the surface laminate could be thrown up during the cutting process, particularly when using power tools. It is recommended to use a power tool or hand saw with a fine cut that has a lot of teeth. The best type of hand saw to use is a pull saw. |

gloves When using Conti it is recommended that you wear a pair of anti slip gloves during the handling of panels in case of sharp edges. |

boots Because of the size and weight of the Conti panels it is advisable to wear safety boots or stout shoes. |

general safety when applying contistrip Extra precautions need to be taken when applying ContiStrip edging as you need to use a hot iron and a sharp tool (chisel, knife, etc.) to trim off the excess tape and a piece of glasspaper for taking the sharp edges off. |
